Microsoft Shoots Itself in the Foot Again

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT  ) introduced the Start button in Windows 95, a veritable eternity ago. Windows 8 took away the familiar user interface widget. The backlash was so strong that Mr. Softy plans to bring it back again, according to The Verge. But it won't be a triumphant return to familiar territory.
